Lifter bits are useful for elevating a horse's shoulder or keeping them square in the turns.
Mullen mouth bits are used for a noodley horse or a horse that tends to drop their shoulder. Can also be useful for a rider who tends to drop too early. Being a solid mouthpiece allows the horse to stay straighter longer and stay underneath themselves.
TWISTER COPPER: Increases salivation which naturally relaxes the jaw promoting more effective response to the bit. Provides a little more "Bite" than a smooth mouth.
SQUARE MOUTH: The square mouth provides a little more "Bite" than a smooth mouth and copper twist.
PORTED COPPER TWIST: Port provided quicker response with softer hand cues. Provides tongue relief. The copper increases salivation which naturally relaxes the jaw promoting more effective response to the bit.
